Herman’s Hermits

Since the departure of former band member Peter Noone in 1971, to pursue a solo career, the group has never stopped. Original member Barry (the Bean) Whitwam, has guided the band from strength to strength, into one of the hardest working acts in the business – they still average more than 150 one-night stands per year – and reckon they maintain their stamina by having an amazing sense of humour.

Their touring schedule takes them to Germany, Belgium, Holland, the Scandinavian countries, the U.S.A., Canada, Australia and New Zealand on a regular basis, and they still find time to perform in their home country the United Kingdom, packing in the audiences at every venue and delighting them with their solid musicianship, vocal ability and dynamic stage presence.

The ‘Golden Oldies’ still make up a large part of their show – much to the enjoyment of their fans, who can’t resist singing along to Mrs Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter, Silhouettes, Dandy, Henry VIII and others too numerous to mention.

From the Sixties, through the Seventies, Eighties, Nineties and into the 21st Century Herman’s Hermits are still ‘Into Something Good’.

Normie Rowe

In a spectacular career Normie Rowe has done it all. In the 60s and 70s Normie was our king of pop with a string of No.1 hit singles Australia wide. Normie has continued that excellence with his solo shows, his involvement in "Legends of OZ Rock" and as an actor in productions such as "Les Miserables" and in the "Long way to the Top" concert tour Normie showed audiences world wide why he is such a formidable force and sought after artist in venues all over the country!

Australia’s biggest pop star of the 60s, Normie Rowe was the 1st Melbourne recording artist to achieve a national No.1 hit. From his 1st single "It ain’t necessarily so" to his 2nd single "I who have nothing" Normie was on the way to international stardom with 2 top 10 hits from his first 2 releases. Then his 3rd release "Que Serasera" took the nationa by storm and his first No.1 hit! Even the B side "Shaken all over" receieved massive airplay. "It’s not easy " and "Ooh La La" followed and Normie toured the UK with Gene Pitney and the USA with Roy Orbison.

Flaming Sambucas - Abba Gold

Waterloo, Ring Ring, Money Money Money, The Winner Takes it All, Fernando, SOS, Thank You For The Music, Dancing Queen – these are the songs that make everybody sing and smile and they are the songs that make an audience want to enjoy The Flaming Sambucas’ nationally acclaimed “Abba Gold” show and the journey that they are taken on.

With authentic costuming and music, The Flaming Sambucas perform all the greatest hits of the famous 70’s Swedish supergroup and with a little audience participation and lots of fun, their “Abba Gold” show is presented in an original story telling way, guaranteed to touch your emotions and leave you with your spirits uplifted. Additionally, the show is enhanced with an exciting video backdrop.

Since forming in 1991, The Flaming Sambucas (incorporating their “Abba Gold” show) has entertained for hundreds of conferences, events and award nights nationally and internationally and remains one of Australia’s premiere corporate party bands.
